In this online workshop, we'll uncover how machine learning works, and will then use machine learning to make predictions with our data. We'll do so by building a machine learning algorithm (called a decision tree) from scratch, and then see using the algorithm to predict future sales.

All you'll need is Zoom and a browser to participate. Please RSVP to receive the Zoom link prior to the event.

This workshop is part of a series. You can come to all three, or pick and choose individual ones.

Zero to Data Visualization - An Intro to Coding Workshop: Tuesday, September 7, 6:30-8

Data Analysis with Pandas: Tuesday, September 14, 6:30-8

Jeff Katz is the founder of Jigsaw Labs.  He has taught and developed curricula in data science and web development. He has taught over 300 students to code, with students going on to work at companies such as Microsoft, LinkedIn and BlackRock. Previously, he developed child welfare software as a developer for Case Commons.
