Virtual Programming
In this workshop, there will be a basic overview of the GarageBand software interface. GarageBand is a great introductory tool for digital music production and audio editing, as it comes already installed on Apple computers and has the ability to create fully realized music and audio works. Topics covered will include creating a new project, recording software instruments, recording live music performance, editing audio, basic mixing, and exporting your final track. No prior musical or audio editing experience required.
This presentation will take place online via Zoom. Please RSVP at least an hour in advance to receive the Zoom link prior to the event.
This workshop is taught by John Thomas Levee. He is an artist and composer, who is currently pursuing his MFA in Sound Art at Columbia University.
