Join us for an interactive photography workshop led by filmmaker and artist Jamie Courville. Tweens will learn how to take portrait photos, with a focus on individuality and personality. All participants will leave with an instant film photo to keep. Recommended for ages 8 to 12. Please register as supplies are limited.
Jamie Courville is a filmmaker and interdisciplinary artist who wants to help people tell stories in their own voice. Her work examines perceptions of disease, race, gender and class. Some recent projects include the documentary feature film Gowanus Current and The Great Pandemics Archive collection of paper ephemera recently acquired by the New York Public Library.
