How to find English Programs for Speakers of Other Languages

The NYS Statewide Language RBE-RN is hosting three informational workshops in collaboration with the Sheepshead Bay Branch, Brooklyn Public Library for students and parents of middle and high school students, high school graduates or adults preparing to enroll in college in the fall or in the near future.

These workshops are funded by the New York State Education Department Office of Bilingual Education and World Languages to provide support for the education of English Language Learners, and students of languages other than English. Districts and schools statewide are offered technical assistance, professional development, and resource materials, including information that strengthens the teaching and learning of students of English as a New Language, and students of languages other than English.
