Indigenous Peoples Day Film Festival, Day 2
Come and help us celebrate Indigenous Peoples Day 2022 by joining us here at the Brooklyn Heights Library for BPL’s second indigenous film festival! All movies are FREE and no reservations are required. See the Brooklyn Heights printed calendar for film details.
We will screen five movies over five days showcasing five indigenous films from USA, Canada, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand.
The screenings will be held in the Multi-purpose Room in the lower level of the library. Be advised: Our film on Wednesday Oct 12 is rated R.
BPL is committed to raising the awareness and recognition of indigenous peoples around the world, in particular The Lenape Nation from Lenapehocking, the ‘Homeland of the Lenape’.
