Living in modern society is stressful. This workshop will help participants understand what stress is and how to combat it. Participants will learn techniques for stress management and how to address the underlying causes of their stress.
Thursday, October 22nd @ 11:00AM- Self-Care: Making your mental health a priority
Self-care has been a popular buzzword in the past few years. This vague but popular term will be defined and discussed. Questions such as “What is the difference between Self-care and being selfish?” and “What if I don’t have time for self-care?” will be addressed.
Thursday, October 29th @ 11:00AM- How to sleep without counting sheep
Sleep is a necessary and precious commodity that is sometimes difficult to attain. This workshop will address some myths associated with sleep in older adults and provide information on how to achieve the optimum level of sleep both in quality and quantity.
Registration is required. This is a virtual program that will require either a computer with audio or telephone in order to participate. The Zoom link will be emailed before the program.
