How To Sew With Elastic

Learn to rework your clothes with elastic! The Elastic Upcycling with KAARA’S STYLE workshop uses beginner friendly sewing techniques to teach participants creative ways to upcycle their clothing into a renewed product using elastic. This workshop is for beginner sewists, join in and follow this easy step-by-step tutorial to take your old clothes and revamp them by inserting elastic. All participants  will receive a .PDF guide of the different ways to use elastic in their upcycling projects. All supplies will be provided the day of.

This workshop will be facilitated by Kaara Henriquez and coordinated by FABSCRAP.  FABSCRAP is a 501c3 nonprofit rethinking textile waste, providing pickup of unwanted fabric from NYC businesses and engaging the local creative community in reuse.
