Greenpoint Library Presents: Foraging Series for Teens | Find Your Way: Foraging & Plant ID in the Park
Teens (13+), join us in a foraging series led by Journei Bimwala. In this second session, step outside and into the world of urban foraging. Teens will sharpen their observation skills, learn to identify common edible and medicinal plants, and connect more deeply with the nature in their neighborhood.
**Participants must register for this event. Each participant will receive a foraging bag, shears, and twine. Maximum capacity is 15.**
This program will be held at Monsignor McGolrick Park, which is off site. Monsignor McGolrick Park is located in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, in New York City, between Driggs Avenue to the south, Russell Street to the west, Nassau Avenue to the north, and Monitor Street to the east. Teens, please meet us at the park. We WILL NOT MEET at the Library.
