The transition to a cleaner and more sustainable world is projected to create exciting opportunities for green jobs. In partnership with ENY Farms, join us to learn about climate change and the diverse range of jobs that can contribute to solutions. Gain an understanding of the practical skills and knowledge essential for advancing green initiatives and contributing to a more sustainable future. These workshops provide insights on career strengths and preferences and how to tailor them to the growing green economy.
During the second session, participants will tour East New York Farms and see a honeybee hive. Participants will learn about the basics of honeybee hive structure and behavior and identify the different roles within a hive. Participants will also learn about the importance of pollinators and maintaining biodiversity and conceptualize the ways in which conservation can be carried out in urban environments. This is an in-person workshop.
Ages 15-24
