What is a catapult?
A catapult is a type of machine used to throw rocks or other things that would cause damage to something else. Often, catapults were set on higher ground or on castle towers to let them shoot farther. They shot rocks to break castle walls, or to set enemy's the target on fire. We won't do that but we can safely play with pom-poms instead!
Recommended Age: Kids
This week Grab & Go STEAM Craft Project is to build your own catapult. Is it difficult? Not at all! Just follow directions, decorate to your heart’s content, explore phisics and have fun doing so. Grab & Go STEAM Craft kits will be available at the lobby of our Leonard Library througout the week while supplies last.
Materials included: Set of Craft sticks, rubber bands, cupcake liner, pop-poms..
Follow included instruction and have fun exploring!
