This week's Grab & Go is spaced themed-- design your rocket to soar through space on a string pulley!
1. Color and decorate the rocket and the pictures on the bottom of the instructions page. Cut them out when finished.
2. Using either tape or glue, tape or glue the back of the rocket onto the cardstock paper.
3. Take out the black construction paper. Punch a hole through the top and bottom of the top sheet of paper, using a hole puncher or a pencil. (Important: There should be space between the top and bottom edges.)
4. Lace the string through the top and bottom hole through the front. Tie (a) knot(s) on both ends of the string, so it catches on the knot and cannot slip through.
5. Using tape, secure the rocket on the string in the middle of the card.
(Optional) You can glue the back of the black paper to some cardboard or cardstock you may have at home. Doing this will keep the paper straight— but if you do this, do not glue down the string on the back!
The next Grab & Go Project will be available on 10/3!
