Today we're making beautiful tree blossom art using tissue paper!  

Blossom represents Spring, a new beginning and grow. Cherry blossom has additional meaning in Japan, because this blossom type - sakura - represents life and the fact that we don't control it. The weather conditions control the length of the bloom, literally with blossom and figuratively with a person's life.

On your way home check all the beautiful blossoming trees and flowers with white, pink, and yellow petals. Every blossoming tree has its own beauty and the way and form. Some have single flowers, some have clusters of flowers. Look at them, touch them gently and smell them but do not break them. 

Suggested materials:

  • Blue and green construction paper
  • Colorful tissue paper

As always, you can add any fun materials of your own: buttons, glitter... Have fun crating your masterpiece!
