Calling all assistive technology users, makers, and disability professionals! Learn all about Makers Making Change (MMC), an innovative community-based initiative that connects makers to people with disabilities in order to create affordable open source assistive technology. Makers utilize emerging technology (Arduino microcontrollers, 3D printing, laser cutting, etc.) and integrate the culture and movements that surround them (the open source movement, the maker movement, and the crowdsourcing movement).

This will be a general information session for all interested parties and will go over the basic structure and tenets of MMC, how to get involved, how to request or build a project, and more.
