A garden is coming to Flatbush Library! Join neighbors and staff from Brooklyn Public Library and the New York Restoration Project to celebrate the launch of the new Flatbush Learning Garden!
2-3pm: Join Flatbush Librarian and staff from NYRP to help as we begin planning our garden space and what we'll plant in each bed. Both experienced gardeners and those new to gardening are welcome!
3-4pm: Celebrate with us during the official ribbon-cutting, and enjoy free food & live music!
4-5pm: Take part in planting and gardening activities for all ages. We'll spend the rest of the afternoon planting a variety of seedlings in our new beds and will chat about the care each plant requires.
This is an all-ages event. Families are welcome to join!
