What Hollywood designs today, you will be wearing tomorrow.—Elsa Schiaparelli
This program will present clips from various films and explore how the fashions worn by actors help narrate the stories. Several topics will be covered, including a variety of costume designers, film genres, and styles and types of clothing.
Remember, fashion is art, and art is subjective, so let’s have a fun discussion, and please share any costumes in film that made an impression on you.
Registration is encouraged but not required. If you have any questions about the program, please ask a librarian at the reference desk.
