Events for Youth and Family live music

The F Tones came from humble roots as two college friends who decided to start busking in Central Park in the late summer of 2015. Soon enough after seeing the reception they were attracting it became clear to them that their music was different. After being asked to perform as the featured Artists of many concert venue in NYC like Lunar Moon Celebration for The friend of the High Line to Bushwick Stories at Hell Phones promoted by Nomadic Press, and a recent spread in the Kings Newsletter, the F Tones comprised of Dwayne Beach on 5 string viola and Marcin Wisniewski on Guitar have been spinning out fresh and velvety covers of pop tunes and yielding out an amazing palette of sounds with their own compositions.

The Alt-Classical group The F-Tones is a dynamic duo that spins out a fresh and velvety Fusion of neo-classical, folk, gypsy jazz, and world elements in their music. Both classically trained, Dwayne Beach on violin and Marcin Wisniewski on guitar have been seeking out an alternative position for their art. Soon after seeing the reception of their music, it became apparent to the duo that their music was striking a unique chord with listeners. In this performance, they are showcasing original compositions as well as some timeless classics. Join them as they discuss the significance of improvisation in their kaleidoscopic music.

Violinist Dwayne Beach - a Belizean American, is the first black musician to have played in the Sarajevska Filharmonija, the national Philharmonic orchestra in Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina. Since being offered a seat in the orchestra in 2019, he had the chance to perform at Opera House at Katara Cultural Village in Doha, Qatar, Bosnia's Nivea Fashion Week, and for the House of Grimaldi of Monaco. He performed in Italy, and all around the United States. Currently since the pandemic he moved back to New York where he is currently sharing his love for music as the Music Director of Noel Pointer Foundation to inner city students, motivating them to shoot for the stars and spending more time composing and performing original compositions.
