People Making Power Exhibition
People Making Power: Politics in Brooklyn explores the history of politics in the borough of Brooklyn. By highlighting three levels of political action: block level politics, political clubs, and Brooklyn politicians passing legislation in Congress, the exhibition allows visitors to see how Brooklynites have galvanized action, organized themselves, and made lasting change.
Come for an in-depth tour of the exhibition People Making Power: Politics in Brooklyn.
Visitors will get a tour of the archival documents and historical artifacts that make up the heart of this exhibition, and will get to learn more about the long history of Brooklynites advocating for change. This tour will also offer a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the process of putting together this exhibition at the Center for Brooklyn History.
Registration is encouraged in order to manage volume, but not required. All are welcome!
Admission is free.
