Exhibition Presentation: The Art of Digital Photography by Zinovy Genkin
The Jewish Art & Craft Guild and the Kings Bay Library cordially invite you to attend a new photography exhibition presentation: The Art of Digital Photography by Zinovy Genkin.
The exhibition will be at the branch from August 28th till September 15th.
Meet the Artist event & official exhibition opening will be on Saturday, September 9th, from 12 to 2 PM.

Mr. Genkin was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia. He majored in electronic engineering and for many years he had worked in Russian research institutions as a Head Engineer. After he immigrated to the U.S. in 1989, Mr. Genkin worked for the New York schools. Mr. Genkin participated in many exhibitions in the Soviet Union and in New York, including Kingsborough Community College. His works were published in the Journal of the Arts “Antheon”, CUNY. Mr. Genkin’s works reflect the variety of his experiences and many travels in America and abroad.

Зиновий Генкин родился в Ленинграде. По образованию – инженер-электронщик. Работал ведущим инженером в нескольких научно-исследовательских институтах. В США проживает с 1989 г. В США Зиновий работал по специальности в частной компании, а затем 11 лет в нескольких школах Нью-Йорка. Выйдя на пенсию, он закончил курсы по компьютерной графике, дизайну и цифровой фотографии в Kingsborough Community College. Фотоработы З. Генкина были представлены на многих выставках в СССР и в Нью-Йорке. Его работы демонститровались в Art Gallery of Kingsborough Community College, а также публиковались в журнале Antheon, a Journal of the Arts. The City University of New York.
