Instructor Bio: Transformations by Tracy is a Slow Fashion, made-to-order brand. I focus on teaching others how to create garments with a deeper sense of well-being, by upcycling and sewing their own clothes with my blueprints.
FABSCRAP is a 501(c)3 nonprofit working to end commercial textile "waste." Your donations and purchase of workshop materials from our online store or by visiting us in person support our work. Stay in touch with us at fabscrap.org and on Instagram at @fab_scrap. Please consider saving fabrics from landfills for your beginner projects! FABSCRAP's variety of curated scrap or yard packs online is a great choice. You can also visit the FABSCRAP Warehouse in Brooklyn or Philadelphia in person to shop for your own scrap muslin needs as you begin your sewing adventures!
Sew Brooklyn is a BKLYN Incubator program. BKLYN Incubator is supported by generous funding provided by the Charles H. Revson Foundation.
