Daily Walk: The Iconic Central Library Building Inside and Out

Join Norman Eriksen, Division Manager of Arts and History (and the unofficial historian of the Central Library) on an historical architecture tour of the Central Library building, followed by an art and sculpture tour of Grand Army Plaza. 

Part 1, 5PM: Meet at Grand Army Plaza outside the Spacebuster Bubble: During the tour you will learn how the Central Library came into being and some unusual things about the building and its history.

Part 2, 6PM: Meet at Grand Army Plaza outside the Spacebuster Bubble: In the past one hundred plus years, Grand Army Plaza and the Brooklyn Museum have changed not only their names but have undergone alterations from the original plans for the area.
