CyPurr Session: Looks to Disappear - Surveillance Tech and Fab Fashion!
#NYFW last event of 2019! Or Early #Halloween! Or Juggalo Convention!
Whatever you call it, for this CyPurr Session, we'll look at the advances made in modern fashion/design to confront the ever-creeping gaze of Surveillance.
We'll be featuring some current events, a makeup tutorial, some design demonstrations, and a little bit of a fashion show! And as per usual we will also be answering your questions as well discussing harm-reducing tech alternatives!
Oh...and did I forget to mention...SPOOOKKYY!!!! Come by dressed in your best anti-surveillance dress—best-dressed gets a prize!
Snacks and kids are welcome. Open to beginner and seasoned techies alike.
The CyPurr Collective is a group of some tech-minded folks who are very jazzed about cybersecurity, cats, and helping folks out with their digital dilemmas. We offer workshops for activists, journalists, educators, and everyday folks who want to up their encryption game!
