Join us for an evening to learn about the creatures of Newtown Creek, then and now, with Greenpoint local, Karolina Zaniesienko. This lecture series is curated by Newtown Creek Alliance. More details to come.

Lifelong Greenpointer and local “River Hag,” Karolina Zaniesienko takes a DIY approach to exploring the sometimes hidden natural world that exists all around us. For two years, Karolina has maintained a fishtank housing creatures she has caught in Newtown Creek. She posts her aquatic discoveries on her personal Instagram @judith.prietht.
