Creative Writing Workshop at Macon: Every other Tuesday from 6pm-730pm, Macon will host a Creative Writing Workshop is designed to allow writers of all backgrounds and experience levels to share creative writing projects, create constructive critiques for peers, write, and revise new and previous work. Each class will begin with a 15 minute writing exercise given by an experienced teacher along with the opportunity to share responses to the prompt. Those who share will receive positive and supportive feedback as well as thoughtful critiques. The last hour of the class will be to discuss, critique, and develop the work of two writers. Depending on what interests attendees, classes on publishing, submitting work, querying agents, and time to write in a quiet environment devoted to creation will be implemented. Walk-ins welcome. Participants bring whatever it is they need to write: computer, pens, notebook, etc.
