Creative Aging: Watercolor Workshop with Karen Fitzgerald
Come paint with us!
Offered as a consecutive 7-session, virtual course (hosted on Zoom), this Creative Aging Watercolor Workshop is aimed at participants ages 55+ who have limited experience working with the medium. We will cover not only technical aspects of the medium, but also essential concepts of the visual language and working on a 2-dimensional surface. The workshop is less a "how-to" and more of an exploration of your own development of a painting vocabulary.
Teaching artist Karen Fitzgerald has taught in library settings for the past 10 years. She is a master teaching artist and a mid-career professional visual artist living and working in Western Queens. www.FitzgeraldArt.com.
The virtual workshop will occur most Thursdays from 5-7pm beginning September 16th and ending in a special event on December 2nd. Workshop dates: 9/16, 9/30; 10/7, 10/28; 11/4, 11/18; 12/2. The Zoom link will be emailed to you one (1) hour before the workshop begins.
