In this 9-week Mask & Collage workshop you will be using expressive ideas, using eye hand coordination along with fine motor skills class participants will create one-of-a-kind masks and collages. Participants will mix acrylic paint colors, practice color and design theory. Various collage art and masks from different cultures will be viewed and discussed.
- Week 1 – Introduction to Collage Art
- Week 2 – Collage Layout
- Week 3 – Elements and Found Objects
- Week 4 – Finishing Touches
- Week 5 – Introduction to the Mask
- Week 6 – Mask Design
- Week 7 – Mask Construction
- Week 8 – Finishing Mask
- Week 9 – The Culminating Event
No Experience Necessary. Supplies will be provided.
