This poetry and collage workshop approaches language as a tangible entity and the image as written word.

Identify the learning goals for the program. What will participants be able to know and/or do? Include arts techniques that participants will be learning, as well as completed project and social engagement goals.

Participants will:

  • Write original poems and stories. 
  • Create text-based collages based on their original writings. 
  • Study and research the history of image and sound of languages. 
  • Present a gallery of original work with a poetry recital.
