Creative Aging: Exploring Collage with Found Materials
In this workshop series for ages 55+, you will learn to make both abstract and representational collage art using materials easily found at home. These workshops will be taught by visual artist Antonia Perez.
The workshop series will take place on Zoom from 11 AM—12: 30 PM on the following dates: 10/6, 10/13, 10/20, 10/27, 11/3, 11/10. On 11/24, there will be a culminating virtual exhibition.
Required materials*:
- Sharp 5” -7” scissors
- An Exacto blade holder with #11 blade
- Elmer’s or Uhu Glue Stick, .74 oz
- Lineco Adhesive
- Elmer’s Glue All
- Flat size 8 bristle brush
- Paper—11" x 14”
- Drawing paper—60-80 lb. 9” x 12” any brand
*Limited quantities of required materials (excluding scissors and Exacto blades) will be available for pickup at the Midwood Library.
