Creative Aging: The Art of Decoupage

Discover the art of decoupage and learn how to take an ordinary object, such as a ceramic container, a glass bottle, or a clear glass plate, and turn it into an extraordinary work of art. Learn creative ways of designing papers which will include painting, cutting, tearing, texturing, and adhering your papers to your container. Your newly created decoupage art will make an excellent art piece for the home or as a gift to someone special.

SUPPLIES NEEDED:

1. Ceramic containers, glass bottles, clear glass plates, and even plastic bottles

2. Acrylic paints and markers (assorted colors, including metallic colors)

3. Deli papers, aluminum foil, magazine paper, fabric, yarn, paper towels, tissue paper

4. Foam brushes & Paint brushes

5. Mod Podge 

6. Scissors 

7. Paper Towels for cleanup 

8. Plastic for the work surface.

Registration Required. Zoom link will be sent by 10am the morning of the program.
