Kids can join this architectural workshop to create their own unique buildings, called Szopka! This series of three workshops will be led by a teaching artist from the Nowodworksi Foundation. Kids should plan to attend all three workshops to design, learn, and build their own creations. Materials will be provided.
Registration is strongly encouraged!
Szopka are a UNESCO-recognized Polish tradition that originated in Krakow. The tradition involves making nativity scenes that include architectural elements from real buildings in the city of Krakow. Originating in the nineteenth century, this tradition helps pass down knowledge of Polish history and architecture.
