CRAFTIVISM: Teen Crafts and Activism for Period Action Day

(Period Action Day is a global day of action to end period poverty and stigma through advocacy, education, and service. )

CRAFTIVISM: Combining crafting and activism to celebrate Period Action Day (ages 10+)

Join authors Ali Terese and Rachel E. Gross for an afternoon of arts & crafts and conversations about menstrual equity.

  • Create crafts, such as friendship bracelets, sculptures, and posters.
  • Get your questions about periods, menstrual health, and puberty answered. 
  • This program is open to older boys, older girls and teens of all genders.

Period poverty refers to the inability to afford and access menstrual products, education, and clean facilities to manage menstrual health.
