Cycle Alliance Menstrual Product & Cosmetics Drive

In a special partnership with BPL Beauty’s Going Deeper project, the Cycle Alliance is now accepting new, unopened packages of color cosmetics, skincare, body care, and dental care items as well as unopened packages of tampons, maxi pads, pantiliners, and menstrual cups at the Central Branch of the Brooklyn Public Library through September 3, 2021. 

 

 

 

 

ITEMS NEEDED:

  • Unopened boxes of tampons
  • Unopened boxes of maxi pads and pantiliners
  • Unopened packages of lipstick, lip gloss, and lipliners
  • Unopened bottles of lotion and body creams
  • Unopened bottles of shampoo, conditioner, detangler, curl control, hair grease, and hair gel
  • Unopened packages Scrunchies, ponytail holders, hair barettes, bobby pins/hair pins
  • Unopened packages of dental hygiene products--toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss, mouthwash
  • Unopened boxes of menstrual cups, reusable period pads, reusable period panties
  • Unopened boxes of feminine/vaginal cleansing wipes
  • Unopened boxes of make up removal wipes, facial washes, acne care, and anti-wrinkle care

Going Deeper is an advocacy group that empowers women coming out of traumatic circumstances. Products will be donated to women escaping sex trafficking and others in need.
