Please join our conversation with Mikołaj Grynberg, author of the book "Jesus died in Poland".

This book is a true, painful, but extremely important read that shows the true face of the humanitarian crisis on the Polish-Belarusian border. Photos, reports, testimonies - all this makes it impossible for an attentive reader to ignore these stories. The pages of this story contain real dramas of people who, risking everything, decided to act. This is a story about people who do not want to be indifferent to the suffering of others, about people who put their own safety at risk to help those in need.

This book is, above all, a tribute to those who refused to be passive in the face of other people's suffering. It is also a warning against the danger of indifference and fear of strangers. In the stories contained in this book, we will find a full spectrum of emotions - from fear, through despair, to hope and determination.
