CONEY ISLAND PRESENTS A VIRTUAL PRE-RECORDED TEAM UP TO READ
Team Up To Read is a free, interactive series designed for children ages 5-9 and their caregivers. Offering a bridge between school and home, the program helps build strong readers by improving reading skills like comprehension and fluency with tips and fun activities, all while encouraging a lifelong love of reading. Parents and caregivers learn how to use these practices to develop their children’s reading skills at home.
Team Up To Read pt. 4 This session will explore THE PARTS OF A STORY and the MAPPING GAME as a way to help us understand and connect to the story.
Please pick up a grab and go bag filled with crayons, story mapping form, comic strip form, pencils and literacy skills.
This session will appear on Coney Island Library Facebook page all day on December 7, 2021. Registration is good but not necessary.
