Computer Basics Classes (JAMAICA BAY)
The Computer Basic classes will be held in the morning for 45 minutes (11 AM - 11:45 AM). Please check the branch calendar for specific dates & times.
- Mondays in Sept & Oct, centered on learning about computer components, including mouse skills, the keyboard, opening and shutting application icons, and launching a web browser.
- Mondays in Nov, centered on learning about the internet, various types of email such as Gmail, Outlook, and Yahoo Mail, creating an email and using Google services.
- Mondays in Dec, centered on learning about Microsoft applications: Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Word.
