2019 marks 400 years since the first slave ship arrived in Jamestown, Virginia. To honor this moment in history - and reflect on the impact still felt today - join us at the Paerdegat Library for a spectacular performance by our community members

- Steel pan performance by Mr. Jahlani Roberts
- Songs and skit by the Glenwood Senior Center Chorus led by Mr. Desmond Campbell
- Songs, dances, and poetry by the children of the Expressions Educational and Cultural Center led by Ms. Yanique Harris and Mr. Richard Nicholson
- Singing and choreography by the Paerdegat Teens
- Recitatal of a poem by Ms. Joan Gilbert
- Mr. Richard Nicholson, Event Coordinator
