Calling all Middle Schoolers!
Learn how to use code to build a scientific model of food webs in our local ecosystem with block-based coding tools (available free online)! Using this model “test” different modifications to population size to see how changes affect the health of an ecosystem. The program will consist of a short lesson on how to use a program called Star Logo Nova, followed by small group work to create your own code and compare models. Participants will be able to access the website after the program for further explanation.
