City Harvest Shopping Tour

City Harvest staff and volunteers lead free hour-long shopping tours at local supermarkets throughout the five boroughs. This tour will take place at Farm Country Supermarket in East New York, and is perfect for participants who attended the "Eat Healthy, Be Active" workshops at New Lots Library.   We will meet in the parking lot which is located on Ashford St between Hegeman Ave and Linden Blvd.

Participants learn tips on budgeting, reading food labels, picking out fruits and vegetables, and making healthier food choices. At the end of each tour, participants receive a $10 credit to shop.
