Join us to watch and have a dialogue about Bookmarks: Celebrating Black Voices. Bookmarks is a series that features celebrities reading and discussing story-time books by African American authors. This conversation about empathy, equality, self-love and antiracism is suitable for all members of your family.

Note: This program is offered through the African American Heritage Center (AAHC), housed at the Macon Library, in collaboration with the NYC Commission on Human Rights. AAHC programs are open to anyone, and everyone, interested in celebrating, exploring, and discussing the African Diaspora. If you have questions or ideas for a program please contact Sheena at [email protected]

Details to access the party and watch Bookmarks will be shared an hour before the event, so please keep an eye out for the email (and check your spam folder if you don't see it!).
