Women's History Month
The timeline of women’s history milestones stretches back to the founding of the United States. Join us for this 4 week watercolor workshop dedicated to the celebration and contribution of women. From Sojourner Truth to Rosa Parks, Antonia Pantoja to Hung Liu and Eleanor Roosevelt to Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.
Nan Carey is a Brooklyn artist working in media that includes painting, collage, sketchbook journaling, bookmaking, graphic design, art jewelry and ceramics. Nan holds a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design and has been teaching classes for budding artists for 20 years.
Registration Required. Space is limited to 25 participants.
Supplies List to have on hand
Watercolor paper
Watercolors
Palette (if you have watercolor tubes)
Brush/es: 1 large, 1 fine water (preferably 2 containers- one to wet brush, one to clean brush)
Paper towel/cloth 2B
HB pencil
Kneaded eraser
Tissue
Ruler
