Celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival with Asian Brush Painting 水墨画中秋
Henry Li will teach a special type of watercolor painting techniques using Asian brush and Xuan paper and inspire students to express themselves using such techniques of Asian painting. Participants will develop their color sense, gain skills in composition and balance, and receive feedback in a supportive environment. Each session will feature a theme: Lesson 1 (September 14): Bamboo with Moon;
Lesson 2 (September 21): Figure painting of the legendary Chang'er flying to the moon;
Lesson 3 (September 28): Chrysanthemum and Crabs.
This program will be recorded, livestreamed on YouTube, and shared on YouTube. All participants who register and join this program will be recorded. Your image will be seen if you leave your camera on, if you ask a question your voice will be heard, and your name may be visible.
Registration is required. Zoom Meeting Invite, class handouts and the url for livestreaming will be emailed to registered participants in the morning of each lesson.
