Barbara F. Walter has spent thirty years studying civil wars around the world. Now she’s become increasingly worried about what’s happening at home. Her new book, How Civil Wars Start: And How to Stop Them examines the dramatic rise in violent extremism around the globe and analyzes the likelihood of a second civil war in the United States. What form would this take on our home soil? Are the warning signs under our noses today? And what can we do to impact history’s course? Join Walter for this CBH Talk moderated by Tasha Philpot.
