Brighton Ballet Theater presents: Ukrainian Folk Dance
Brighton Beach Public Library and Brighton Ballet Theater proudly PRESENTS free lecture-demonstration with Ukranian folk and character dances and selection from a new full-scale perfomance. The ballet "Mavka" features originial choreography by Edouard Jouchnarev and NY Theater for the Young Audience, inspired by the famous Ukranian novel of Lesya Ukrainka, "Song of the Woods".
Program will be held on the main floor.
This program is supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Depeartment of Cultural Affairs in Partnership with the City Council.
