The Brooklyn Community is invited to join the branches of BPL's Kings Highway region for an exciting afternoon of creativity and outdoor fun at MIDWOOD LIBRARY! Come early, bring comfortable shoes, and get ready to move yourself around!

Learn rumba, merengue, tango, and waltz from International dance champion Oleg Trebunski!

ROCK THE DANCE FLOOR! (4PM-5PM)
Dance classics and hits from world-renowned musicians: 

RON JACKSON (7-string guitarist) is an award-winning musician, composer and arranger.  Ron is the only African American 7-string jazz guitarist alive. He has performed music in over 30 countries.

LEZLIE HARRISON (vocalist extraordinaire) is a permanent fixture on the New York and global Jazz scene and co-founder of the world-renowned JAZZ GALLERY. She can be heard every Sunday on 88.3FM WGBO, NYC's only all-jazz radio station.

DONALD NICKS (bassist virtuoso) has toured extensively with such distinguished jazz legends as Roy Ayers, Henry Threadgill, Nancy Wilson, Luther Thomas, Jorge Sylvester, and Ray Mantilla. He has performed extensively throughout New York, the U.S., and Europe.

This is a collaborative event hosted by all 10 library branches of the Kings Highway region.
