In honor of Native American History Month, Mr. Mike reads two books about Native American legends. The first is Blue Frog:The Legend of Chocolate by Dianne de Las Casas with illustrations by Holly Stone-Barker, which is a re-telling of Aztec and Mayan myths concerning the discovery of chocolate. The second is Zorro and Quwi : Tales of a Trickster Guinea Pig by Rebecca Hickox with illustrations by Kim Howard which are based on legends of trickster animals from the Peruvian Andes.
