Books Unbanned Storytime with Anna Membrino author of My Moms Love Me
Join us for a special author storytime as part of our Books Unbanned Storytime series, where we highlight books that have been banned or challenged in libraries, schools, and in other ways around the country.
Anna Membrino will share their latest picture book, My Moms Love Me, a celebration of queer moms! Following the storytime, stay for an author-led craft activity exploring family and identity.
Anna Membrino (they/she) is a queer author and editor of children's books. They have authored thirteen books for children, including the bestselling Big Shark, Little Shark early reader series and the I Look Up To... board book series for toddlers. Anna is the editor of many picture books, including the #1 New York Times bestselling picture book Grumpy Monkey.
Limited signed copies of the featured book will be available for free at the event.
Registration recommended. Entry subject to room capacity.
