Outing Note, 8/6/25: Due to vehicle maintenance issues, today's outing will start at 11:30 am instead of 11:00 am, and is limited to Summer Reading giveaways, Library Card signups & renewals, book returns, grab-and-go craft kits, and general reference services.  We are not able to offer book browsing and check-out services.  We apologize for the inconvenience.

 

Catch the Bookmobile outside Gravesend Branch! You can also pick up a Grab & Go craft. 

Gravesend (303 Ave. X) is closed for renovations, but Bookmobile service will continue Wednesdays from 11 AM - 4 PM each Wednesday in March and then the first Wednesday of the month. We provide reference services and point patrons towards library and community resources.  The Brooklyn Public Library Bookmobile provides library services on the road. Patrons can browse a variety of books in a relaxed outdoor setting, get a library card, or avail themselves of reference services through Bookmobile staff.
