Booked is a music and reading series at Brooklyn Public Library's Greenpoint Library and Environmental Education Center.
Booked invites local artists to show support for the library by sharing their favorite reads and songs in community.
Today we are excited to welcome Shawn DeBerry and can't wait to see you there! The event will be held outdoors in our rooftop garden, weather permitting. We recommend bringing hats/sunglasses/etc.
This event is free, registration encouraged
Through many transitions along his journey, Shawn DeBerry sets out on a path to live out his musical dreams. He believes strongly in making a name for himself by simply being himself. After releasing his first ep I Am Who I Am in 2014, he returned with I Am Who I Am 2 in 2020. After gaining more life experience, he decided to make music his career of choice and released his euphorically induced single You Can't Clip My Wings at the top of 2021. You can be sure to hear more music from him sooner than you may think.
