The BKLYN Fashion Academy is back!
This 16-week intensive program provides the essentials to create and sell ready-to-wear men’s and women’s wear garments. Up to twenty aspiring designers will be selected to participate in this program. This year we will focus on the History of Carnevale (Carnival) and its influence around the world.
Designers will participate in:
- Fashion Illustration, Accessories Design Classes & Labs
- Sample Development & Sourcing Classes
- Sustainability, Upcycling & Repurposing Classes
- Market Research Classes on the Fashion Industry
Designers will also create a capsule collection to showcase their ready-to-wear Spring/Summer looks at the culminating runway show on Friday, May 8, 2020!
