In nature, everything is connected. Humans have a greater impact on the Earth than any other species. As we continue to put pressures on the planet, we are upsetting the balance of ecosystems and losing biodiversity. Due to our actions, three-quarters of land-based environment and 66% of marine environment have been significantly altered.
Nichola Ramchurjee is a biodiversity/natural resources activist. With determination, she has pursued her passion at the University of Mysore, India earning a PhD in Environmental Science. She has more than 10 years’ experience in research, biodiversity and natural resources conservation, remediation and data analytics. She has also combined the social aspects with her environmental work and has published numerous research articles and books.
