BCAP at Home with the Brooklyn Public Library
Brooklyn Origami and Haiku
Stay home this summer,
let paper take you away,
create things at home.
Join our librarians as we explore art and poetry from Japan to make Haikus and origami that reflect nature in our own backyards. Learn how to make origami versions of Brooklyn wildlife and capture summer before it leaves you behind.
Think the library is just for reading? Think again! Join us for fun surprises every morning that celebrate summer in Brooklyn and join in on fun projects, crafts, and books you can work on at home. Check out some summer reading highlights, make art, learn to cook and so much more with the librarians from the Central Library branch.
